A Good Start
Did you know that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It provides the nutrients and energy needed to concentrate in school. Research even shows that kids who eat breakfast get better grades, pay more attention in class, and behave better. Help your youngster begin their day on the right foot. Winters School provides Breakfast every day of the week.
Lunch provides one third of the minimum recommended daily dietary allowances as established by USDA. Breakfast meals provide one fourth of the recommended daily dietary allowances. The menus offered by Winters ISDare meeting the 2009 Dietary Guidelines to meet recommendations for fat and saturated fat levels, increasing the number of servings of fruits and vegetables and whole grain products.
