Homework schedule:

Monday- Read story from Basal Reader. Sign Reading slip.

Tuesday- Read Decodable reader every night. Parent must initial at top. Tuesday Folder will be sent home. Please, take out papers that need to stay home and sign papers that need to come back.

Wednesday- Spelling list will come home. Study for test on Friday.

Thursday- Study spelling words.

Friday- Spelling Test

At some time during the week your child may have a math paper that must be completed. This may be facts or math that may be just introduced to them. Be sure to check the Homework folder every night for this.

Welcome!! My name is Mrs. Meyers, and I will be your child's second grade teacher this year. I hope that your child will enjoy his or her second grade school year. We will be working very hard this year on increasing fluency and increasing their knowledge in math.
