We are well into our year. Our class has done some very exciting things so far. Our gingerbread house creations were such fun. Thanks to all the parents and grandparents who came to help "build" them.
The first grade classes are beginning a unit on animals and their habitats. This is also a fun unit for the children because they love learning and studying about animals.
Our reading skills improve daily. The children are excited to be readers! Please listen to your child practice his/her reading every evening at home. This is what makes good readers--lots of practice.
We will be administering the middle of the year TPRI in a couple of weeks. This test will let us know the progress of the students. After the test, I will contact you with results.
