Immunizations:
Immunizations are continually being changed and updated.  When your child obtains a vaccination,
it is your responsibility to notify the school and your child's record will be updated.
The newest updates are the varicella and Hept. B requirements which took effect August 1, 2000.
If your child has had the chicken pox, please notify me.  Documentation of this is important and
will be place on your child's health record.  The Hept. B is a series of 3 vaccinations and can
be received over a 3 month period from your local provider or the Texas Dept. of Health at
754-4945 to make an appointment.

Please feel free to come by my office for any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your child. Or you may call my office at 754-5577 or you may email me at: j_lynn.cooper@wintersisd.org
