Welcome to My Kindergarten Class Page

I want to welcome you and your kindergartner to school! I am excited about the coming year and what I have planned for your child. Your child will be learning new skills, gaining new information, learning how to work and play with others, having fun, and most important, developing a good feeling about himself/herself. It will be very important to have good communication between you and I, therefore, please contact me when you have questions or to let me know if something is occurring within your family that might affect your child's performance at school. We will have two scheduled conferences during the year, but feel free to contact me at any other time you need to have a conference or just check on your child. You can call the school office or send a note with your child if you need to schedule a conference time. Also, my email address is cheryl.butler@wintersisd.org.

Our day will start at 7:50 each morning. Breakfast will be served in our room from 7:50-8:00. It is very important that you have your child to school by 7:50 each morning, as we have to start cleaning up breakfast shortly after 8:00 in order to get our day started.
