The government has developed a webpage with various ideas, materials, and methods to follow if you or your child/ren contract the flu. Please go to http://www.flu.gov/plan/school/toolkit.html for that information.
Morning information: We have teachers on duty beginning at 7:30. Buses arrive after 7:30. Elementary students are assigned to specific gathering areas when they arrive at school. If you have an emergency and your child occasionally needs to be at school before 7:30, please contact the office so we can arrange temporary supervision until the official time our duty teachers arrive. The bell rings at 7:50. Elementary students will be eating breakfast in the cafeteria this year so your child needs to be at school on time, please.
Parking information: Please bear with us as we work through our building projects. For now, there will be no parking next to the playground between the cafeteria and elementary building. Please feel free to park in the teachers' parking lot. Thank you for your patience and help.
Afternoon information: If you have a message for a student, please call the office or directly e-mail the teachers before 2:00 or we cannot guarantee students will receive the message.
What a terrific bunch of mentors we have this year! Your work with our students brightens their days and really makes a difference in their lives. We still have need of help, so if you would like to mentor a student, please contact the office at 754.5577 and we'll give you all the information you need.
Best Practices
Please remember children do their best at school when they've had a good night's sleep, a calm start to their morning, and activity when they get home in the afternoon that allows them to use energy.
Please ask questions about your child's day at school that include what they did in reading, math, science, social studies, music, and PE.
